The Burntwood Wedding Of Shaun and Kelly at Christchurch.

Yesterday Staffordshire Wedding Photographer Glyn T Jones Photography providing the Burntwood wedding photography for Shaun and Kelly. Their wedding ceremony took place at Christchurch on Burntwoods Church Road, before moving on the very short distance to The Nags Head, one of the Staffordshire towns oldest public houses.

We arrived at the Chase Terrace home of the parents of Kelly at around 11am to photograph the bridal preparations. We arrived to find a very calm and seemingly relaxed Kelly along with her bridesmaids. The bridal party all took turns having their make-up expertly applied by the beautician who had been hired to provide all of the bridal make up. We photographed Kelly in the make-up chair during the process before moving upstairs to photograph her being laced into her stunning maternity bridal gown. Once the bridal party was all dressed ready for the wedding, we photographed Kelly in the back garden along with her very proud looking parents.

It was now time for us to move along to Christchurch, the Burntwood wedding venue, to photograph our days groom Shaun along with his best man. Shaun was already at church when we arrived, visibly very nervous. We photographed him in various poses both alone & together with members of the grooms men, including a few more fun styled shots to help put Shaun at ease.

It wasn't too long before the congregation were ushered into the church to take their seats to await the wedding ceremony. A stunning white vintage wedding car soon rolled up outside the church to bring the first part of the bridal party to the venue. We enjoyed taking photographs of the bridesmaids and pageboys while the wedding car went to pick up Kelly our stunning bride. The car soon arrived back at the Burntwood wedding venue with Kelly, our bride, along with Andy her dad who was ready to give her hand in marriage.

We took all the traditional wedding photography of the full bridal party outside the church, as well as some close up portrait styled photographs of Kelly before she entered the church to walk up the aisle to meet Shaun her groom.

The wedding ceremony was a beautiful service that we were able to photograph throughout thanks to the lovely vicar who had allowed us to sit in the choir section of the church, right on the alter. The tears inside the church were flowing nearly as much as the torrential rain was falling outside. Luckily once we had photographed the tradition of signing the wedding register, and the walk back up the aisle as man and wife the rain had again stopped.

We decided to get straight into the traditional group and family photographs outside the church while it was not raining. We then spent some time alone with the new Mr and Mrs Dutton in the very scenic church grounds to capture the love that these two so obviously share for one another with some relaxed portrait styled photographs of them very happy together.

Shaun and Kelly now made their way to the waiting wedding car to be driven the short distance across Burntwood to the Nags Head for their wedding reception to take place. Here we spent some time photographing the newlyweds in their reception room that had been beautifully decorated, this included a mock cutting of the wedding cake. We then left the newlyweds alone to spend the time with their guests, family & friends before being seated for their wedding breakfast.

We would like to offer our congratulations to Mr and Mrs Dutton on their marriage, and also like to thank them for letting Glyn T Jones Photography photograph their big day for them. We wish Shaun and Kelly a very long, happy and healthy future together as man and wife.
