Cannock Wedding Photography At The Barns Hotel

Yesterday Sunday 8th June 2014 saw us at Glyn T Jones Photography providing the Cannock wedding photography for Andrew and Sheena on their wedding day.  The Staffordshire couple had chosen to hold their wedding ceremony at The Barns Hotel in Cannock. This is a Cannock wedding venue that we have worked at quite a few times previously to photograph weddings, as well as other events. This Wedding venue in the Huntington area of Cannock is very popular, due its quaint character with timber beams and low ceilings. This venue did in fact start out as an old farm house.

We arrived at the Cannock venue at around 4.45pm as arranged at our final pre-wedding meeting with Andrew and Sheena. We soon found Andrew looking very smart along with his best man, both looking exceptionally calm. We set about photographing them at various locations outside the building, including making use of the old vintage tractor that is one of the main features outside the venue.

It was soon time for Andrew to enter the upstairs ceremony room for his pre-wedding interview with the registrars, leaving us free to await the arrival of the bride from her hotel room.  Sheena  came into view, traditionally she was just a couple of minutes late. She looked simply stunning in her white wedding dress carrying her bouquet of red roses, she was accompanied by her three beautiful bridesmaids dressed in their elegant red bridesmaid gowns carrying their white bouquets.  We photographed all of this as the bridal party made their way across to the ceremony room.

The service went perfectly, watched by so many people that there were people standing at the back of the room. We photographed all of the key stages of the wedding ceremony from two different viewpoints for the couple to include in their wedding album.

The wedding ceremony was soon finished, and Andrew and Sheena were introduced to the congregation as the brand new Mr and Mrs Price. The whole congregation now made their way downstairs, and outside for the traditional wedding photography to take place. We always like to use an upstairs room at this wedding venue to photograph the group shot of the congregation, the overhead position always makes for a good angle with everyone from the wedding in full view.

Once all of the traditional wedding photography was complete, we spent a short time with the newlyweds to capture some loving portrait photography of them together as they enjoyed their special day.

We now photographed the newlyweds inside their venue with their wedding cake, and guests, before we congratulated them, leaving them to party hard with all of their family and friends.

We would like to thank Andrew and Sheena for choosing us to capture their Staffordshire wedding photography for them on their big day.

We would also like to wish them both a very long, very happy, and very healthy life together as husband and wife.

A small selection of the photographs from this wedding will be included on my Wedding Gallery once they have been viewed by the newlyweds.
