Cannock Wedding Photography At Oak Farm Hotel.

Today saw Staffordshire Wedding Photographer Glyn T Jones Photography at Oak Farm Hotel to capture the Cannock wedding photography for Brian and Teresa. They had chosen this stunning Cannock wedding venue for their civil ceremony wedding. Oak Farm Hotel is a lovely venue that started life as a farm house overlooking the picturesque Cannock Chase. These days it is a lovely hotel set just on the outskirts of the Staffordshire town of Cannock, it is a very popular wedding venue due largely to the character that the building still has with its low ceilings and genuine original oak beams, and of course the beautiful grounds and gardens that the hotel is set in with its panoramic views of the Staffordshire countryside.

We arrived at the wedding venue at around 2.30pm and made our way to the bedroom that our bride for the day was using to get herself and Bethany, her bridesmaid ready for the big day. We arrived to find both dressed ready for the occasion with hair and make-up looking amazing. We photographed both Teresa and Bethany, both looking and acting surprisingly calm with no show of nerves. We now made our way to the reception area of the Cannock venue to find Brian, the days bridegroom along with his best man David, who were welcoming the many guests that were now starting to arrive. We photographed Brian and David outside the hotels main entrance together, as well as Brian with his amazing youthful 90 year old mom.

The bridegroom along with all the guests were now ushered into the venues Garden Suite where the wedding ceremony was going to take place, and awaited the arrival of Teresa to join her groom, and the registrars at the front, overlooking the Staffordshire woodland through huge patio doors. The wedding service went off perfectly, and was seemingly fully enjoyed by the couples friends and family.

Once the actual wedding ceremony was over, the new Mr and Mrs Davison walked up the aisle as newlyweds to a huge round of applause from their guests. They were soon handed a celebratory drink while being congratulated by the hotel staff as they were ushered into a small garden area at the front of the wedding venue. Here we photographed them enjoying a peaceful moment together, while enjoying each other company, and of course their drink.

Our newlyweds now re-joined their friends and family in the bar area, and outside on the patio area. We gathered all the guests in the garden for the traditional Cannock wedding photography to take place. We managed to capture the main group shots, and the traditional confetti throwing ceremony just as the weather turned to the more normal bank holiday rain. We all moved back inside to the hotels garden suite where we were able to photograph the formal family group shots using the original wood burning fireplace as a backdrop.

It was now time for the guests to be treated to the wedding breakfast so Brian and Teresa  lined up to greet their loved ones as they entered to be seated for the meal, before being formally introduced as the new Mr and Mrs Davison.
