Lichfield Wedding Photography At The Registry Office.

We again returned to a very popular Staffordshire wedding venue on Saturday 6th September to capture the Lichfield Wedding Photography at the Staffordshire cities registry office for Ash and Tash on their big day. This Lichfield wedding venue is the place of choice of many local couples to hold their Lichfield wedding photography, largely due to the stunning gardens of Beacon Park that it is situated within.

We arrived to the wedding venue at around 12.45 pm on Saturday to await the arrival of the days bridegroom Ash. This wedding was planned to be slightly different from your traditional wedding, with a colour scheme of black and purple. Ash soon arrived dressed in his black suit complete with purple converse boots, seemingly very calm for his big day. We photographed Ash along with his bestman outside the Lichfield venue in the warm September weather, before the groomsmen headed inside the registry office for Ash to have his interview with the Lichfield registrars. At this point the congregation of family and friends that had started to arrive also ventured inside the venue to take their seats for the marriage.

We waited outside for the arrival of Tash, along with her three bridesmaids who we knew were due to arrive anytime. We soon noticed the bridal party were arriving, as we spotted the sparkly purple car that they were arriving in come around the corner. Tash emerged from the car looking simply stunning dressed in her black wedding dress, along with her three bridesmaids who looked beautiful in their matching purple bridesmaids dresses. We photographed the full bridal party who were obviously very excited, as well as our beautiful bride alone on the edge of Lichfields Beacon Park. It was soon time for the bride to enter the Lichfield wedding venue, ready for her grand entrance to her waiting groom.

The wedding ceremony ran very well, and was thoroughly enjoyed by the family and friends of Ash and Tash that had been invited to witness their marriage, and watch as they became the brand new Mr and Mrs Mitchell. The marriage ceremony was now complete, and we made our way back outside into Beacon park for the traditional wedding photography to take place. We worked our way through photographing the various family groups, as well as the traditional group shots of all the wedding guests, who then proceeded to shower the newlyweds with boxes of confetti.

It was now time for the more formal wedding photography of the members of the bridal party and groomsmen with the newly married couple ready to be included in the wedding album. All of this was photographed at various locations inside the Lichfield park.

We now spent some time alone with Ash and Tash over the road from the registry office in the memorial gardens that are set of the bank of Lichfields Minster pool. This venue was used to photograph the newlyweds in a much more relaxed atmosphere, capturing some loving portrait photographs of them enjoying the company of each other away from the watchful eyes of other people.

The whole wedding party now moved the short distance from Lichfield to Burntwood to the St Mathews Social Club where the wedding reception was being held. Here we made sure that we photographed the traditional wedding photographs of the newlyweds along with their wedding cake.  This was also the perfect opportunity to capture some more unusual, and fun photographs. Ash is a guitarist who will be playing with the band, that were playing at the wedding reception, so it was decided to get some photographs of them up on the stage with the instruments that were already set up in place for the evenings entertainment.

It was now time for the whole wedding party to be treated to a hog roast meal, as well as the wedding speeches before partying the night away to celebrate the marriage of the new Mr and Mrs Mitchell. This meant it was time for us to leave Ash and Tash to enjoy the rest of their special day with their loved ones.

We would like to thank Ash and Tash for choosing Glyn T Jones Photography to capture their Lichfield wedding photography for them. We would also like to wish them both a very long, happy and healthy life together as husband and wife.

There will, as usual be a selection of the wedding photography from this wedding added to my wedding gallery once the photographs have been viewed by the newlyweds.
