Wedding Photography At Lichfield Registry Office & Burntwood Rugby Club

Saturday 9th July we were in Lichfield, Staffordshire providing the professional wedding photography for Adam and Mandy. The couple had chosen to get married at Lichfield Registry Office, followed by their wedding reception in their nearby home town at Burntwood Rugby Club. These are two very popular venues that we have worked at many times.

We arrived at the Lichfield Wedding Venue at around 1.45 to set up our cameras, and to await the arrival of bridegroom Adam. Adam arrived at around 2pm along with his best man, both looking very smart in their three piece morning suits. We photographed Adam with his best man outside the registry office, as members of the family were arriving for the ceremony.  Adam, along with the wedding congregation were soon called into the wedding venue to take their seats and await the arrival of Mandy.

We waited outside with our cameras to photograph the arrival of Mandy. A huge white stretch limousine was soon seen heading our way, so we knew that this would be the bridal party. We set about photographing the bridal party as they exited the wedding car, before photographing Mandy inside the limousine. Mandy looked beautiful dressed in her white strapless wedding dress, complete with veil over her face. Mandy now exited the wedding car to join her bridal party outside the wedding venue.

A very nervous Mandy now entered the registry office to get ready to make her entrance, and walk down the short aisle to join Adam infront of the registrars.

The wedding ceremony went perfectly, and Adam and Mandy were pronounced husband and wife, and Adam was then invited to kiss his bride.

The newlyweds now signed the wedding register infront of their loved ones.

The wedding congregation was now lead outside by Adam and Mandy into Lichfields Beacon Park for the formal wedding photography to take place. We photographed all of the traditional wedding photography of various member of the bridal party, and family groups all with the newlyweds before Adam and Mandy were showered with confetti.

Adam & Mandy were soon joined by a passing minion from the Lichfield Fuse festival that was also being held in Beacon Park this particular weekend.

We now spent time alone with the newlywed couple in Beacon Park, as well as over the road in Lichfields Memorial Gardens to photograph their romantic wedding portraits for inclusion into their wedding album. Adam and Mandy were very clearly more relaxed for their photographs away from the watching eyes of their family and friends.

Once the romantic wedding portraits had been photographed the couple made their way back to their waiting wedding car to make their way to Burntwood Rugby Club while sipping champagne.

Once at the rugby club we photographed the brand new Mr and Mrs Chamberlain with their stunning two tier wedding cake, before the whole congregation was treated to the wedding breakfast.

It was now time for us to leave Burntwood Rugby club for the wedding party to enjoy their afternoon, and to party hard into the night.

We would like to thank Adam and Mandy for choosing Glyn T Jones Photography to capture their special day for them.

We would also like to take this opportunity to wish them a very long, a very happy, and a very healthy life together as husband and wife.
