Meriden Manor Hotel Wedding Photography Of Mick And Margaret

Friday 19th May professional wedding photographer Glyn T Jones was working in the West Midlands providing the wedding photography for Mick and Margaret. The wedding venue that the couple had chosen was Best Westerns Manor Hotel in Meriden. This is a beautiful hotel set in landscaped gardens, and is situated in between the town of Solihull, and the city of Coventry.

We arrived at the West midland wedding venue at around 12pm to find Mick who had stayed at the Manor Hotel overnight.  An emotional Mick soon greeted us he looked very smart dressed in his grey three piece morning suit, complete with pink cravat. We photographed Mick outside the hotel along with his son, who was Micks best man for the day.  A few of the wedding guests had now started to arrive, and Mick was happy to pose with for our cameras, before being called into the wedding venue to see the registrars.

We waited outside for the arrival of Margaret with her bridal party. Margaret soon arrived in a white limousine wedding car, along with her daughters Joanne and Laura. Margaret looked stunning in her white fitted lace wedding dress.  We photographed the bridal party both inside, and outside the wedding car for them to include in their wedding album.

Once all of the photographs of the bridal parties arrival had been captured, it was Margarets turn to see the registrars before the marriage could take place.

The marriage ceremony took place in the hotels Cedar Suite, and was a lovely service filled with emotion and humour, and was thoroughly enjoyed by the couples loved ones.

Once Mick and Margaret had been officially named husband and wife they led the wedding congregation out into the bar for a celebration drink. We left the newlyweds alone with their guests for a few minutes, before gathering everyone together for the formal wedding photography to take place.

We photographed the group photographs of Mick and Margaret with all of their wedding guests in front of the hotel, from a window on the first floor. The newlywed couple were then heavily showered with confetti, and all captured by our cameras. We now photographed the traditional smaller family groups at various features of the hotel, before spending a few minutes alone with Mick and Margaret to photograph them together in some romantic wedding portraits for them to treasure.

After a few drinks, the wedding congregation were called back into the Manor Hotels Cedar Suite for the formal wedding speeches to take place, and be captured by our cameras, before everyone was treated to a roast beef wedding breakfast.

The happy couples evening guests started to arrive at around 7.30pm, and were greeted by the newlyweds. At around 8.15 Mick and Margaret were called onto the dancefloor to traditionally cut their four tier wedding cake in front of their guests. It was then time for the newlyweds to take to the dance floor to perform their official first dance together before been joined onto the dance floor by their family and friends.

The party then lasted late into the night and was enjoyed by everyone who had been invited to this beautiful wedding.

We would like to thank Mick and Margaret for choosing us to provide them with their official wedding photography on their special day. We would also like to wish them both a very long, very happy, and very healthy life together as husband and wife.
