Burntwood Wedding Photography At St Anne's Church Of Scott And Katie.

Saturday 20th August saw us in our hometown of Burntwood in Staffordshire to provide the professional wedding photography for Scott and Katie. The marriage ceremony of this beautiful couple was taking place at St Anne’s Church in Chasetown, followed by the wedding reception which was to be held at The Roman Way Hotel in Cannock.

We arrived at the Burntwood home of Katies mom at 9am to photograph some bridal preparation photography of Katie and her bridal party as they got ready for the big day. Katie was very nervous, but also very excited. We photographed Katie as her make-up was applied, as well as her stunning ivory lace wedding dress hanging ready to be worn, along with various other items for her wedding day.

We stayed to photograph Katie as she was fastened into her wedding dress by her mom, and also having her veil fitted into her hair by her sister. Once Katie was ready we photographed the emotional reaction of when her father made his way into see Katie in her wedding dress for the first time. We now left the bridal party alone, and made our way to St Anne’s Church to await the arrival of bridegroom Scott.

Scott, along with his groomsmen was soon spotted walking up the road to the church. They all looked very smart dressed in their blue three piece morning suits, and brown shoes. Scott was photographed outside the church, both alone, and also with his groomsmen.  The wedding guests had now started to arrive, and was greeted by Scott. Before long the wedding congregation was called into St Anne’s church to take their seats for the wedding ceremony.

A white Princess wedding car soon came into view carrying the bridesmaids to the church for their duties, before returning to collect Katie and her father. Katie arrived and emerged from the wedding car looking absolutely beautiful.

The wedding ceremony was a lovely service that was enjoyed by the whole congregation. There was also a moment that will be remembered for ever by Scott and Katie, the vicar managed to drop both wedding rings separately onto the church floor, luckily they avoided the grate that was in the floor.

Scott and Katie were soon announced as husband and wife, and led the congregation up the aisle and out of the church. Here we captured all of the traditional wedding photography of the various family groups before spending a short while alone with the newlyweds to photograph some romantic wedding portraits for them to include in their wedding album.

Scott and Katie now entered their wedding car, to travel to The Roman Way Hotel in Cannock while sipping a glass of champagne.

Once the newlyweds had arrived at the Cannock hotel we set about capturing some more photographs of them along with the wedding car, and family members who were enjoying drinks from the hotel bar.

Once the reception room that had been expertly dressed had been viewed by the happy couple, the wedding guests were called into the room to take their places for the wedding breakfast, before Scott and Katie were officially announced into the room. After we had photographed the newlyweds sitting at the top table, we left the venue while the congregation was treated to formal speeches , as well as their meal.

We returned to The Roman Way Hotel in the evening to photograph Scott and Katie as they cut their wedding cake, before they took to the dance floor to perform the traditional first dance together as husband and wife. This dance was performed underneath a huge popping balloon that once burst showered the happy couple on smaller balloons and confetti.

Katie now took to the dancefloor with her very proud father for a daughter and dad dance, before the party really got started and lasted well into the night.

We would like to thank Scott and Katie for choosing us to provide them with their professional wedding photography on their important day.

We would also like to take this opportunity to wish them every happiness, and a very long, very happy, and very healthy life together as husband and wife.
