Staffordshire wedding of Darren & Nicola at Hawkesyard Hall

Hawkesyard Hall wedding of Mr and Mrs Mayers.

Glyn T Jones Photography had the pleasure on Sunday of capturing the Rugeley wedding photography for Darren and Nicola on their beautiful wedding day at Hawkesyard Hall set in the lovely Staffordshire scenery.

We arrived at the Rugeley home of Nicolas mother at around 9.30 am on Sunday Morning to photograph the bridal preparations of Nicola along with her bridal party as they prepared for the biggest day in Nicolas life. We photographed Nicolas amazing wedding gown hanging ready to amaze the guests at the days ceremony. I can safely say that this wedding dress was easily the biggest that we have photographed for any of our wedding photography to date. We started of photographing the bridesmaids being laced into their lovely red gowns before the chance arrived to to photograph Nicola getting into her amazing wedding dress, which was expertly laced up by Sue, Nicolas mom. We posed the stunning looking bridal party for photographs while they sipped on champagne. It was soon time to travel the short distance across Rugeley to the Hawkesyard Estate to meet with Darren, our days groom.

We arrived at Hawkesyard Hall, a stunning Staffordshire wedding venue that we have previously had the pleasure of working at for our wedding photography, where we awaited the arrival of Darren with his five bestmen. A silver stretch  limousine wedding car soon arrived outside the hall carrying the groomsmen, all looking very smart in their ivory jackets. We photographed Darren with his bestmen both alongside the wedding car, and also on the doorstep of the magnificent hall enjoying the occasion. Guests had started to arrive and were enjoying a drink from the orangery bar that is set in Hawkesyard Halls beautiful landscaped gardens. The groomsmen and the guests soon started to enter the hall to take their seats ready for the civil ceremony. We waited outside to capture the arrival of Nicola.

Nicola soon arrived in a stunning blue Bentley wedding car, closely followed by her six bridesmaids in the stretch limousine. Nicola peeled herself & her huge wedding dress from the car and looked absolutely stunning.

We photographed the bridal party along with Nicolas very proud looking grandad who was giving away her hand in marriage. The bridal party now entered the hall for the civil ceremony to take place.

The wedding ceremony went perfectly, and we were again given permission by the registrars to photograph the important key points of the service.

Once the wedding service was over, and Darren and Nicola had officially become Mr and Mrs Mayers we all again moved outside into the Staffordshire scenery for the traditional wedding photography to take place. This venue is a Staffordshire wedding photographers dream, there are just so many locations around the hall and grounds to use as amazing backdrops to any wedding photography. We put these locations to good use photographing the group and family photographs that have become traditional within wedding photography. We now spent time alone with the lovely newlyweds photographing informal, relaxed portrait style wedding photographs for inclusion in the wedding album that they will treasure for life.

After the guests had again enjoyed a drink from the orangery bar, the whole congregation then moved to the St Thomas Priory Golf Club that shares Hawkesyard Halls grounds. Here the newlyweds were formally introduced as the new Mr and Mrs Mayers to the delight of the wedding guests. The whole gathering were then treated to the wedding breakfast which was followed by the traditional wedding speeches.

We again returned to the Staffordshire wedding venue in the evening to photograph the newlyweds as they took to the floor to enjoy the traditional first dance ceremony, this was expertly performed, and thoroughly enjoyed by all of the wedding guests.

We would like to wish Darren and Nicola a very healthy life together, and wish them every happiness for a very long future together.

We would also like to thank them for choosing us to be their Staffordshire wedding photographer on their wedding day. Capturing your Rugeley wedding photography at such a stunning venue was a pleasure.
