Professional Staffordshire Wedding Photography At Stone Wedding Venue

Friday 27th May we travelled across Staffordshire to capture the professional wedding photography for Andy and Jess. They had chosen their wedding venue to be The Mill Hotel and Restaurant in the picturesque town of Stone.  This is a stunning wedding venue full of character and charm, the building itself is a 400 year old Hovis flour mill that is now a grade 1 listed building.

We arrived to the venue and made our way to the hotel room that Jess and her two bridesmaids were using to get ready. Jess was very calm as she had her hair styled, although she did say she was feeling nervous. After a few photographs had been taken, we made our way back outside to await the arrival of Andy.

Andy soon arrived along with his bestman Rob. Andy was looking very smart in his blue three piece suit along with brown shoes. Andy was obviously very nervous, but was happy to pose for photographs at various locations around the wedding venue.

The wedding guests had now started to arrive so we left Andy and his groomsmen to greet the congregation. We made our way back to Jess and her bridesmaids to photograph them now they had gotten into their dresses. Jess looked simply stunning in her white strapless wedding dress, complete with veil. The two bridesmaids also looked beautiful in their purple dresses.

It was now 3.30 so Jess made her way to the ceremony room to greet Andy at the end of the aisle. The marriage ceremony went perfectly, and as Andy and Jess shared their first kiss together as husband and wife the whole room erupted into a big cheer.

The newlyweds now led the congregation outside into the bright sunshine to celebrate their marriage. A choir had been arranged to sing in the garden to entertain the guests while we spent some time alone with the newlyweds to photograph romantic wedding portraits of them enjoying their special day.

The congregation now made their way back into the Mill to take their places to listen to the traditional formal speeches, before being treated to the official wedding breakfast.

At around 7.30pm the evening guests started to arrive, including one very special guest, the newlyweds son who looked amazing dressed in a blue suit with brown shoes just like his dads.

At around 8.30 Andy and Jess cut their white three tier wedding cake, before taking to the dance floor to perform the traditional first dance together.

At this point a hog roast was opened outside in the garden for everyone to enjoy. It was also now time for us to leave the wedding venue as the party got into full swing late into the night.

We would like to wish Andy and Jess a very long, healthy and fun filled life together as husband and wife.

We would also like to thank them for choosing Glyn T Jones Photography to photograph their wedding, it was an honour to share their important day.
