Tamworth Castle Hotel Wedding Photography Of John and Claire.

Last Saturday 22nd March 2014 saw professional Staffordshire wedding photographer Glyn T Jones photographing the Tamworth wedding of John and Claire. The Venue that had been chosen to hold the civil ceremony was Tamworth Castle Hotel.  This is a Tamworth wedding venue that we know well, as we have photographed numerous weddings in this lovely hotel that is set in the grounds of the medieval Tamworth Castle.

We arrived at the wedding venue as arranged at around 12.15, and made our way up to room 8, as this was the room that the bridal party were using to get ready for the days ceremony. After letting Claire know that we had arrived, we left the bridal party alone to get ready. We used this time to photograph the hotels Wedgewood Suite that was going to be the setting for the days wedding.

We had a quick chat with the hotels wedding co-ordinator Phil to double check timings, before making our way to the bar to find John, our groom along with his best man Ken. John and Ken both seemed very nervous, but were calming their nerves over a pint. Of course all of this needed to be photographed, before we took them outside the wedding venue for the more formal pre wedding photography to take place.

We now made our way back up to Claire to photograph her having the final touches of her bridal preparation before she made her way downstairs to greet John at the altar for the wedding ceremony to take place.

The wedding service went perfectly, the joy on the faces of John and Claire was plain to see, along with a few tears as the emotion flowed, both from the newlyweds as well as members of their congregation.

Staffordshire Wedding Photographer Captures Tamworth Castle Wedding

Sadly the weather had not been kind to us, as the heavens opened, Claire understandably did not want to go outside and get her gorgeous white wedding dress dirty. In a wedding venue such as Tamworth Castle hotel this though is not a problem, as the hotel holds many indoor features that can be used for the formal wedding photography to take place.

With the traditional wedding photography having been taken, it was a pleasure to spend some time alone in the hotel photographing the brand new Mr and Mrs Wale in some loving more informal portraits of them enjoying their day, and the company of each other.

It was now time for the wedding breakfast of John and Claire, so we congratulated the newlyweds, before leaving them to enjoy the rest of their day in the company of family and friends.

We would like to thank John and Claire for choosing us to provide them with their professional wedding photography.

We would also like to wish them a very long and happy life together as husband and wife.

A few images from this lovely wedding will be available to view in our Wedding Photography Gallery, once they have been seen by the newlyweds.
