The marriage of Cavan & Mandy at the Barns Cannock.

The Barns Cannock wedding of Mr & Mrs Tomkinson.

Glyn T Jones Photography yesterday had the great pleasure of shooting the Cannock wedding photography for Cavan and Mandy on their wedding day at The Barns in Huntington Cannock.

We arrived at the Hednesford home of the parents of Mandy to capture some bridal preparation photographs to start the couples wedding album. Here we photographed the wedding gown hanging ready to worn by Mandy for the biggest day of her life. Once all the bridal party were dressed in their bridesmaids and flower girl outfits and Jack looked smart in his page boy suit, it was time to photograph them all looking eager to start the days duties. Mandy was now in her beautiful ivory wedding gown, so we photographed her been laced into it by Pam, her mother, as this was one of the shots of the Cannock wedding photography that Mandy had requested previously. It was now time to make our way across Cannock to the Barns, todays wedding venue.

Upon arriving at the barns we found Cavan along with his grooms men all looking smart, and surprisingly calm in the bar. We now photographed Cavan along with his bestman in all the traditional wedding photographs, along with some more unusual playful shots. Cavan was especially keen to sit on the vintage tractor that sits outside the Cannock wedding venue. The wedding party now moved to the upstairs section of the venues farmhouse to get their seats ready for the ceremony. We stayed outside awaiting the arrival of Mandy along with her bridal party.

Before too long two white stretch limousine wedding cars pulled up outside the venue carrying the whole of the bridal party. Mandy emerged from from the front car looking the picture perfect bride.

We spent some time photographing the party outside the wedding venue, and some lovely images of Mandy along with her father Keith who was giving her hand in marriage. It was now time for the ceremony to begin.

The wedding ceremony went perfectly, eagerly watched by the couples family and friends who all enjoyed the occasion. The registrar had given us her permission to photograph the civil ceremony taking place, this is always nice as it allows the couple more wedding photographs to remember their wedding by.

Cavan and Mandy had officially been named Mr and Mrs Tomkinson, the whole of the wedding congregation moved outside into the September Cannock sunshine to capture all the traditional wedding photographs. The group shots, and the confetti throwing tradition was all captured from above using the upstairs of the venues farmhouse. We find this always makes for a nice angle and means that everyone in the group can be seen as hiding behind someone is very difficult. We then captured all the family group shots as well as some loving portraits of the newlyweds on the very picturesque doorstep of the venue. Cavan was again very eager to climb onto the tractor for more photographs, this time with his new bride.

We now took the couple to the nearby Cannock Chase to use the stunning local scenery to get some different location wedding photography. Here we had some fun with the very relaxed newlyweds and the photographs clearly show their love for each other, making shooting relaxed loving portrait style photography very easy. It was soon time to head back to The Barns where we photographed them during the traditional cake cutting ceremony.

It was now time for the wedding breakfast, so we left them to enjoy their meal, and the occasion with all their loved ones.

Glyn T Jones Photography then returned to the Cannock wedding venue to photograph the newlyweds as they took to the dance floor to perform the traditional first dance together as man and wife. This marked the end of the official wedding photography so we left as the party was getting into full swing.

We would like to thank Cavan and Mandy for choosing us to be their Cannock wedding photographer and for allowing us to share with them their special day.

We would also like to take this opportunity to wish them both a very long, happy and healthy life together as husband and wife/

Congratulation Mr an Mrs Tomkinson.
