Cannock Wedding Photography of Scott and Becky at Oak Farm Hotel.

On Friday 29th August we were again working at a beautiful Cannock wedding venue providing the professional Cannock wedding Photography for Scott and Becky, as they held their marriage ceremony at the lovely Oak Farm Hotel on the outskirts of the Staffordshire town. This is another one of the local Staffordshire wedding venues that we always look forward to returning to with our cameras, to photograph weddings.

We arrived at the Cannock wedding venue at 2.15pm to photograph the pre-ceremony proceedings. The bridegroom Scott has spent the previous night at the Cannock hotel along with his groomsmen, so were already dressed very smartly in their suits. We photographed Scott with members of his groomsmen, as well as different family members both on the doorstep of the wedding venue, as well as in various positions inside the hotels gardens.  Scott seemed very calm, though did admit that he was feeling very nervous about the day, as is very expected and natural.

The arrival of the bride Becky was now quickly approaching, and so the congregation were ushered inside to take their seats in the hotels Garden Suite where the wedding ceremony was due to take place.

Becky arrived in style, riding inside a beautiful white vintage Daimler wedding car along with her mother, bridesmaids, pageboy, and flower girls. Becky looked amazing in her white wedding dress, with her bridesmaids dressed in pink lace dresses. We set about photographing the entire bridal party along with the stunning wedding car, as well as photographing the gorgeous looking Becky alone on the build up to her wedding, before the bridal party were lined up ready for their big entrance.

The wedding ceremony was a very tearful event for the bride and groom, as well as quite a few members of the wedding congregation. We photographed all of the key moments of the marriage for Scott and Becky to include in their wedding album.

The newlyweds had now officially become husband and wife, and made their way along the red carpet to the huge applause of their loved ones as they left the Garden Suite. They were handed a very welcome glass of punch as they came to the end of the red carpet, followed by all of their guests, who also received a glass to celebrate the wedding of the couple. We now gave all of the guests a few minutes to congratulate the couple while they enjoyed their drinks.

Rain had been falling in Cannock all through the marriage ceremony, however it had now stopped so we were able to take the traditional wedding photography outside the wedding venue in the garden area that holds the oak trees that the hotel takes its name from.

It was now time for us to spend a few minutes alone with the lovely couple to photograph them in various loving poses against the various backdrops that this Cannock wedding venue holds.

With 5pm approaching it was now time for the brand new Mr and Mrs Hughes to be announced into the hotels function room to their awaiting guests, where the whole congregation enjoyed the traditional wedding breakfast.

We returned to the Staffordshire wedding venue at around 9pm to photograph the proceedings as Scott, along with his new bride took to the dance floor to perform the traditional first dance, where they were quickly joined by family and friends. At this point we left the wedding venue leaving the party in full swing, as everyone partied hard to celebrate this lovely wedding.

We would like to wish Scott and Becky a very happy, very long, and extremely healthy life together as man and wife.

We would also like to take this opportunity to thank them for choosing Glyn T Jones Photography to provide them with their Cannock wedding photography on their special day.

A selection of the wedding photography from this lovely wedding will of course be available in my wedding gallery once they have been viewed by Scott and Becky.
