Cannock wedding photography at St Lukes Church and The Chase Golf Club

Saturday 29th August saw us working in the Staffordshire town of Cannock providing the professional wedding photography for Daniel and Lauren. The wedding ceremony was to be held in St Lukes Church, before moving across Cannock to The Chase Golf Club for the wedding reception. These are both Cannock wedding venues that we have worked at many times before.

We arrived at St Lukes Church at around 1pm to await the arrival of the bridegroom, Daniel along with his groomsmen. At 1.15 as arranged Daniel arrived along with his bestman and three ushers ready for his marriage to Lauren. The groomsmen were all dressed very smartly in their matching blue three piece suits. We photographed them all in the traditional style, as well as a few informal fun shots of them all together, before they settled into their duties of greeting the guests.

The wedding congregation now moved inside St Lukes Church to take their seats to await the arrival of the bridal party, and the ceremony to begin.

The gleaming Daimler wedding car soon arrived for the first visit to the church, this time safely bringing the two bridesmaids, and the small flower girl to the wedding venue. The bridesmaids looked lovely dressed in their pale pink bridesmaid dresses each carrying a wedding bouquet. This was all photographed for inclusion into Lauren and Daniels wedding album.

The wedding car soon returned to the Cannock church, this time bringing Lauren and her father Dean ready for the wedding to take place. Lauren looked stunning in her white strapless wedding dress carrying a pink and white bouquet.

After the arrival and all the official photographs had been taken of the bridal party, it was now time to enter the church for the marriage to take place. The wedding ceremony ran perfectly throughout, and Daniel and Lauren were introduced to their family and friends as the new Mr and Mrs Barry. Once the registers had been signed the whole congregation moved outside to congratulate the newlyweds.

We photographed all of the traditional wedding photographs outside the church, using various views as the backdrops. The newlywed couple were treated to a good showering of confetti from all of their excited guests, before we started photographing the individual family groups with the couple.

The guests now made their way to The Chase Golf Club for the wedding reception, while we spent a few minutes alone with Daniel and Lauren photographing some informal romantic portraits of them together enjoying their special day, before they made their way to the waiting wedding car to take them to their wedding reception.

We waited at The Chase Golf Club for the newlyweds so that we could photograph their arrival, before we set about taking a few more romantic images of them in the beautiful grounds that this golf club on the edge of Cannock Chase has. Daniel and Lauren were chauffeured around the venue in a decorated golf buggy allowing us to photograph them in many different locations of this beautiful scenery.

It was now time for the bride and groom along with the bridal party to perform a line up to greet their guests into the venues function room to be treated to their wedding breakfast. This meant it was now time for us to leave the wedding congregation to enjoy their meal, and the afternoon together.

We returned to The Chase Golf Club at 7.45 pm to photograph the wedding cake cutting, and the first dance. The sun was going down, and had created an amazing sunset that had to be used as a backdrop for a photograph of this lovely couple.

It was now time for Daniel and Lauren to cut their wedding cake, and take to the dance floor to perform their first dance as husband and wife. This was thoroughly enjoyed by the family and friends of them both.

It was now time for us to leave the wedding reception venue to allow the party to really get started to celebrate the marriage.

We would like to wish Daniel and Lauren a very long, very healthy, and very happy life together as husband and wife. We would also like to think them both for choosing us to provide them with their official wedding photography on their wedding day.
