West Midland wedding at Four Oaks Church & Moor Hall.

Friday 21st September saw Glyn T Jones Photography attend the beautiful wedding of Nic and Rebecca as their West Midlands wedding photographer. The church service was held at Four Oaks methodist church in Sutton Coldfield before traveling to the nearby Moor Hall hotel and Spa for the wedding breakfast and evening reception.

We arrived at the Four Oaks church at around midday to await the arrival of Nic, our groom, along with his bestman Matt. Nic arrived shortly after with Matt and a few members of close family. We photographed Nic and Matt outside the beautiful church before taking the opportunity to photograph Nic along with his very proud looking parents. Once these wedding photographs had been taken everyone moved inside the church to get their seats, and shelter from the rain that was sadly falling. We sheltered in the church doorway while awaited Rebecca, our bride to arrive.

Before long we spotted a shinning white wedding car approaching. This was the arrival of the bridesmaids and page boy, this presented another opportunity to photograph these members of the bridal party while the wedding car went back for Rebecca. We didn't have to wait long before the car again emerged, Rebecca got out of the back seat of the car looking like a fairytale bride! She looked simply stunning in her white wedding gown carrying her pink and white wedding bouquet.

We moved quickly into the West Midlands church with the bridal party to escape the rain. After a few wedding photographs had been taken of the bridal party we moved into position to photograph Rebecca walking down the aisle to meet an eager and nervous looking Nic at the alter.

After the lovely service was taken by the minister, and the couples own pastor, the congregation again moved outside into the West Midlands rain. We photographed a few images of the newlyweds in the church doorway, and of them quickly dashing back to the waiting wedding car with Nic lovingly sheltering his bride under cover of an umbrella. At this point the whole wedding party left the church headed for Sutton Coldfields stunning Moor Hall.

Upon arrival at Moor Hall, itself a stunning West Midlands wedding venue, Nic and Rebecca walked the red carpet while sipping on a glass of bucks fizz. Unfortunately the awful weather prevented us from going into Moor Halls stunning grounds for the wedding photographs. Luckily the venues wedding planner directed us to some equally stunning photography locations inside the hotel to capture some lovely shots of the newlyweds at various locations inside the hotel, for them to treasure and to forever remember their West Midlands wedding.

After taking all the traditional wedding photography of the family groups, cutting of the wedding cake etc, we left the happy couple to enjoy their wedding breakfast with their family and friends.

We returned to the Sutton Coldfield wedding venue later in the evening to photograph the newlyweds as they performed the first dance together as a married couple for inclusion into the wedding album.

We would like to thank Nic and Rebecca for choosing us to capture their West Midlands wedding photography for them, you were both a true pleasure to work with on your wedding day. We would also like to wish Nic and Rebecca a very long, very healthy and happy life together as husband and wife.
