West Midland Wedding Photography At Sandwell Registry Office.

Saturday 24th August saw us providing the West Midlands Wedding Photography for Martin and Debbie. This marriage was held at Sandwell Registry Office, a wedding venue that Staffordshire wedding photographer Glyn T Jones photography knows well, from working at before photographing weddings for happy couples on their special days.

We arrived at the Great Barr home of Martin and Debbie at around 1pm, as this is where Debbie and Chloe her bridesmaid was getting ready for the days wedding. We arrived to find everybody very calm and relaxed. We set about photographing members of the bridal party while Debbie was finishing her bridal preparation. It wasn’t long until Debbie came downstairs looking truly stunning in her beautiful wedding dress, with her hair pinned up around her tiara. We wasted no time photographing Debbie with her bridal party, all still exceptionally calm. With the bridal preparation photography complete, we left the bridal party to enjoy the last hour of the wedding build up, while we headed to the West Midlands wedding venue.

We arrived at Sandwell Registry office to find Martin already there, patiently waiting for everyone to arrive. We photographed Martin outside the wedding venue in the bright sunshine, both alone and with his sons. The guests now started to arrive, and so Martin was called in for his interview with the registrars while we waited for Debbie, our bride to arrive.

Before long a beautiful vintage silver Daimler wedding car pulled around to the front of the registry office carrying the bridal party. All of the bridal party emerged from the car, with Debbie now looking slightly more nervous than we had seen her earlier.

Debbie made her way into the venue for her interview, before settling on the very picturesque sofa in the pre ceremony room, waiting to make her grand entrance to her waiting groom.

It was now time for the wedding ceremony to take place, this was a lovely emotional service complete with two readings from younger members of the wedding party. The wedding register was signed, and Martin and Debbie were announced as the brand new Mr and Mrs Lamasz. The congregation now headed outside for the traditional wedding photography to take place in the beautifully landscaped gardens of the venue.

The family group shots and all of the traditional wedding photographs were taken. This included what has become very rare these days, the throwing of the wedding bouquet. We always love to photograph this tradition as the emotion that is captured is priceless. We now photographed the newlyweds together as husband and wife while their guests made their way to the Great Barr Ex-Servicemen’s club for the wedding reception.Wedding Photography at Sandwell Registry Office

The new Mr and Mrs Lamasz now made their way back to the wedding car, which was waiting to take them to their wedding reception while sipping champagne.

Once the newlyweds arrived at the wedding reception venue they were showered in bubbles by the younger members of the guests before heading inside to family and friends. We photographed the proceedings here before leaving the newlyweds to enjoy their day with loved ones.

We would like to thank Martin and Debbie for choosing us for their West Midland wedding photography, you were both such a pleasure to work with. We wish you lots of happiness in a long, happy and very healthy life together. More photographs from this lovely wedding will be available in our wedding gallery once the proofs have been seen by Martin and Debbie.
